The Challenge

Build a Shakespeare-themed greeting card line that could succeed in a crowded retail market.

My Approach

Treated it as a full-stack brand system — from product design to e-commerce to wholesale distribution — while keeping the cards witty, modern, and accessible.

What I Did

  • Designed 24 original card designs with custom illustration

  • Built e-commerce site and managed fulfilment, collaborating with printers/retailers for quality at scale

  • Negotiated wholesale contracts with retailers including Paper Source, The Strand, and Powell’s Books

Result

Sold in 200+ U.S. retailers and sustained four years of online sales before selling the line to focus on agency work.
